Jelly Gelato Ice cream Parlour

Renovation | 2019
Project Overview
The history of Italian ice cream in Iran is back in 1973. When a person named «Jalal Montazeri» traveled to Italy and decided to bring this type of ice cream to Iran.
The store closed for a variety of reasons and became a drapery. The Client decided to revitalize the shop, but this time with a new identity -Jelly gelato-. When the store given to the architect, the main challenge of rebuilding it was to keep and show the history of this place and also designing it in a modern way. As a result, it was attempted to show the ceiling structure as well as the bricks used in the building.

Eventually the store space was divided into two parts: the first part for serving ice cream and the space for people to sit and the second part for selling ice cream and accounting.
